His suit actor was Hirokazu Iwakami in the first movie and Hiroshi Suenaga as of Kaiser Belial. In Ultra Zero Fight, he is voiced by Masaya Takatsuka, and in Ultraman Geed, he is voiced by Yūki Ono. He was voiced by Hiroyuki Miyasako in Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie and Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial. With the Giga Battlenizer in hand, he began plotting to conquer the Land of Light and get his revenge on the Ultras. Rayblood bestowed upon him Reionics powers, corrupting Belial into the dark Ultra he is now.
He was originally one of the most powerful and renowned warriors in the Land of Light, but was consumed by his greed and prideful nature and sought to increase his power by trying to steal the Plasma Spark, the source of power for the Land of Light, but the spark's energy was too much for him to handle and he was banished to a lonely planet for his crimes against the Ultras, where he encountered the spirit of Alien Rayblood. He is also the sworn enemy of Ultraman Zero and the father of Ultraman Geed, who was created with Belial's genetic components. Ultraman Belial is a major antagonist in the Ultraman franchise, appearing as the main antagonist of Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie, Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial, Ultra Zero Fight, and Ultraman Geed.
