I am especially interested in this asterisk that is totally missing in my LOOT plugins.I am playing Skyrim VR (using MO2 with latest LOOT), I installed Immersive College of Winterhold (ICOW SSE) and I am having troubles with college LODs.ġ) I generated LODs with LODGen (tes5vr), everything else is OK, but the college is not. It would be agreat help if someone checked their LOOT created plugins.txt and then tell me if it differs from mine. When I use the Vortex plugins.txt the mods are loaded. My 70+ mods are only occupying three HUGE lines in the LOOT plugins.txt.Īs far as I know that asterisk in front of every mod (see Vortex plugins.txt above) is crucial for proper loading and yes when I use the LOOT plugins.txt the game is telling me that all my mods on which my savegame is based are not longer available. I can't post it here how it looks exactly as the three lines you see above are just one line in my LOOT plugins.txt with numerous additional mods following in that line. Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esmUnofficial Skyrim -SE-Merged-All.espRLO - Interiors.espS3DTrees NextGenerationForests.espJKs Skyrim.esp The plugins.txt that LOOT creates looks like that (excerpt from beginning of file): *Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esm *Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp My working plugins.txt from Vortex looks this way (excerpt from beginning of file): So does it really make sense to solve all the mod conflicts in Vortex if you finally let LOOT do its magic?Ĭould someone please have a quick look at the plugins.txt that is created by LOOT. I assume LOOT doesn't care for it at all and is doing its own thing. I would like to know how LOOT handles the load order I already managed in Vortex. When I install and enable my mods via Vortex I already have to manage mod-dependencies and load orders there. Since nobody seems to have any problems using LOOT I would like to know if I am doing something wrong here. I could take the LOOT's plugins.txt as a reference and then create the file manually but running over 70 mods currently I don't feel like doing it that way. When I use this plugins.txt my mods aren't loaded correctly. LOOT creates a plugins.txt in which all plugins/mods are listed consecutively in just two huge lines without any breaks in between. Now here comes the problem: when I use LOOT the created plugins.txt totally differs in format from the correct one that Vortex is giving me. It seems that this format is crucial as my mods seem to not load correctly in Skyrim VR if the plugins.txt differs from that format. Vortex creates a plugins.txt in which every plugin/mod has its own line and every line begins with an asterisk. Since I am using a lot of mods I thought it could help to put LOOT on top for managing my load order. I am using Vortex for my Skyrim VR mods and so far this worked pretty good.
